Sheltered Housing

Situated in Dorking, Surrey, Ribblesdale, the Journalists' Charity Sheltered Housing, comprises eight bungalows and twelve flats.

Sheltered Housing is designed for people who are able to manage and care for themselves. There is a Scheme Manager on site to deal with unforeseen problems and help out until other help can be arranged. There is a twenty-four hour emergency call system in all the properties, which is connected to a call centre run by the local authority.

The aims of the Journalists' Charity are to help journalists, their dependants and familes in need. If you are any of these you will be eligible for consideration for a place at Ribblesdale- as will parents of working journalists.
